The reality of many sports lives away from the benefits obtained by the big football clubs who can afford to plan a season according to the tastes and needs of the team and coach. Futsal, as a sport of the middle class, suffers from the same problems as its economic class. The crisis prevents teams from signing their ideal players, and the teams are forced to last-minute hires to come up with a roster to play all the games of a season.

Migration of players to leagues of other countries is continuing and it will continue to grow if the solution desired by all does not arrive. The number of foreign players has been seen considerably reduced. Despite the high level of Spanish First Division futsal, the presence of foreign players used to be the timely addition to complete the rosters. But there are many other troublesome aspects that make us wonder about the future of Spanish First Division futsal, and the result, if these aspects aren't tackled, can be lethal for one of the most beloved sports in the country.
