FC Barcelona Alusport has won their third consecutive Liga title to extend a dominance that is showing no signs of letting up in the future. For the first time, the Blaugrana did not need five matches in the final to certify their victory, in which their victim was once again ElPozo. Both finalists exploited the "home pitch factor" to seal their ticket for the decisive knockout round, after beginning a series of semi-finals with defeats at home against Caja Segovia and Inter Movistar.
