Roberto Tobe Belope, “Tobe,” is 27 years-old. This past January he received the offer every great player dreams of receiving, he was granted one of those rare opportunities that come along once in a lifetime: Inter Movistar had knocked on his door, and that meant wonderful news for him, despite the sadness for having to leave the club Caja Segovia, the club of his life.

We agree to meet near his home. He invites us upstairs. We speak about opportunities and dreams come true. He shares with us his view on the futsal situation. He talks about the financial predicament the sport is in from a veteran’s perspective.

This is not the first problem he faces in futsal after overcoming heart problems in his first season. That’s precisely why he believes he is privileged considering his situation.
