This is the point in time in the match when the team defending following excellent work in the defensive phase manages to actively recover possession of the ball and the opponent block is wide open and disjointed.

This situation favours rapid progression of play and finishing the attack through quick, precise, and very profound actions.

It represents a rather high percentage of actions that lead to a goal, which is where the importance of training for that moment of play comes in. This training should be done through drills that reproduce the situations from which these actions may originate
