The training session we are now about to explain will be about one of the goalkeeper's most developped skills during the last years: the footwork.

Today's football demands the goalkeeper a good control and security with the ball at its feet. During the last three decades we have witnessed the great improvement of the goalkeeper in this aspect of the game. We have passed from goalkeepers who could not start the play in a reliable way to those who are an essential part of their teams, a great role at the start of every attack, offering a passing option to a teammate and playing the ball precisely.
